Rotary drum roaster is a type of continuously rotating drying equipment with internal heating and conducting system. Inside the drum, there is a layer of film attached on the drum wall surface. Heat is transferred to the internal wall of the drum through pipes and then to the drum wall and finally the film. The moisture in the materials film evaporates so that the rotary drum roaster dries the materials. Dried products are scrapped out of the drum by the blade fixed on the surface of the drum. Then they fall down onto the spiral conveyor under the blade. The conveyor collects the products and sends them out.

1. High thermal efficiency
Since the dryer is heat conduction, the heat transfer direction remains basically the same throughout the heat transfer cycle. Therefore, most of the heat supplied in the drum is used for the vaporization of the wet part of the material, and the thermal efficiency reaches 80% to 90%.
2. High drying rate
The heat and mass transfer process of the wet material film on the drum wall is consistent from inside to outside, and the temperature gradient is large, so that the evaporation intensity of the material film surface is maintained at a high level, generally up to 30 to 70 kg/(㎡.h).
3. Stable drying quality
Since the heating method is easy to control, the temperature in the drum and the heat transfer rate of the partition wall can remain relatively stable, so that the material film is dried under the heat transfer state, and the quality of the product can be guaranteed.
